It’s finally here! You can now see the new and exclusive trailer for the eagerly awaited [REC]3 Genesis, directed by Paco Plaza and produced by Julio Fernández for FILMAX.

After the success of the teaser trailer that was launched in September (more than 100,000 plays on Youtube in just one weekend and Trending Topic on Twitter), we can finally catch more than just a glimpse of the latest installment of the most profitable and successful Spanish horror saga of all time and one of the most anticipated films of 2012.

The [REC] saga has collected numerous international nominations and awards since the release of the first film in 2007 including Best Film at Fantasporto, Audience Awards at the Gérardmer Film Festival and Sitges International Fantastic Film Festival and the Silver Scream Award at the Amsterdam Fantastic Film Festival. The first of the [REC] films also scooped two Goyas (the Spanish Oscar equivalent) for Best New Actress (Manuela Velasco) and Best Editing in 2007.

With this third installment, director Paco Plaza is set to take audiences once again to their sensorial limits.

Starring Leticia Dolera (Imago Mortis) and Diego Martín (The Last of the Just) and written by Luiso Berdejo [REC], [REC]3 Genesis will be unleashed on Spanish cinema-goers 30th March, 2012.

And let’s not forget that in the not so distant future the infection will strike again in [REC]4 Apocalypse, the film which will be directed by Jaume Balagueró and will put an end to the [REC] saga.
